Statement from the DirectorWhen we left the psychiatric hospital after visiting Bob, we knew we had to make Please Hold. Although Bob’s descent into madness was due to a particularly virulent form of bad customer service (BCS), this scourge affects us all, the young and old, man and woman, the healthy, sick and infirm.
The customer service representative hits us at our most vulnerable. When we are in need of help, when desperation is upon us, when whatever crucial tool of our modern existence has failed us, that is the moment when BCS inevitably pounces. And so we determined to make a statement about BCS and broadcast it to one and all. Please Hold is our attempt to speak for all who have suffered from this scourge and been its victims. For only if we join together, stand up as one and shout “enough," is there a chance of ending BCS once and for all. So, Bob, if you’re listening, this one’s for you. And for all of you too. |
